Description

No one knows better if post-secondary supports are truly supportive of Indigenous students than Indigenous students.  This session will outline the journey of Keeta Gladue (an Indigenous social work researcher), as she describes her experiences of Indigenizing and decolonizing mental health research. Speaking to her research completed in 2019, Keeta will discuss her process of engaging in Indigenous research and what she learned from the stories of her fellow UCalgary Indigenous students.
