The National Standard of Canada for Mental Health and Well-Being for Post-Secondary Students—the first of its kind in the world—is a set of flexible, voluntary guidelines to help post-secondary institutions support the mental health and well-being of their students. This voluntary Standard builds on the exceptional work of Canada's post-secondary institutions and seeks to inspire further actions through evidence-based and principle-led approaches.
As post-secondary communities continue to adapt and transform, the Standard offers a platform for collaboration while helping institutions prioritize and respond to their most pressing opportunities and challenges.
In this panel discussion, participants will learn from post-secondary leaders:
- how other institutions are working with the Standard;
- how the Standard can help institutions leverage their strengths and identify new opportunities for action; and
- practical examples of how students can be involved as collaborative partners.
Join the MHCC and leaders in post-secondary education to share ideas and gain insights for the upcoming academic year!
