SOCH Mental Health's short film video project provides culturally and linguistically appropriate mental health promotion for SA international students. The videos focus on the following mental health topics: Introduction to Mental Health, Adjusting to Canada, Depression, Risky Behaviours-Drinking, & Suicide. Some themes highlighted in the videos are: family pressure, self-stigma ,and cultural expectations.

Importance of applying innovative strategies to address mental health needs in ethnic communities.
